Teresa Clemmey

Teresa (Tiago) Clemmey 60 of New Bedford passed away suddenly, on Friday October 11, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Pires) Tiago. Teresa was born in Linhares, Portugal and had lived in New Bedford since 1966. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was employed by Atlantic Red Crab as an administrative assistant. She also worked at Market Basket and the Dollar Tree Store in Fairhaven. Survivors include her sons, Marc Clemmey and Aidan Clemmey both of New Bedford; her daughter Shannon McAfee also of New Bedford; her brothers Armenio Tiago of New Bedford and Jorge Tiago of Acushnet; her sister Helena Bernardo of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren Justin and Olivia, along with several nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be said 9am, Thursday October 17 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours are Wednesday October 16 from 5-8pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home 223 Ashley Blvd. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
